Drum Circle/Fire Ceremony March 19

Drum Circle/Fire Ceremony - March 19 - at the Tipi
Here are a few things you need to know.
  1.   Please arrive at The Yogatorium by 7:00 pm or a few minutes before.  You may wish to come earlier and walk the labyrinth before dark.  Call 864-506-4063 for reservations and directions to 1909 Tillman Territory Rd., Ninety Six, SC The Yogatorium is 2 miles S of the Ninety Six Historic Site off Hwy 248.  At Tillman Territory Rd., turn left, (if coming from Ninety Six) or east, go to the first driveway, (approx. 1/4 mile) and turn left, come to the second building (red door).  The fire pit is just beyond.
2.  Bring a drum or a rattle or a flute if you have one.  But, we will have several options available.
3.  $5 donations will be gratefully accepted, but are not required.
4.  Wear layers - it can be chilly and perhaps get warm inside the Tipi.
5.  Bring a stick (one or more) for each issue, request, or whatever you would like to release to the Universe.  It is best if you think about this beforehand and pick up a natural stick from the Earth somewhere.   Then, at the fire, you will blow (with intention) the issue into the stick and place it in the fire.  (We'll show you how to do this.)
6.  The drumming and fire ceremony are very simple.  You are welcome to participate when you wish and/or just watch when you wish.  It's totally up to you.
7.  The affair can be a great opportunity to connect with your inner spirituality. The group energy is very helpful in allowing this to happen for each of us.  Also, please bring your enthusiasm and join in with your dancing, chanting and flute, or whatever Spirit moves you to do.
8.  We are happy you decided to join us!  Remember, you must make a reservation since space is limited in the tipi. But space is not limited at The Yogatorium.

Housing for Personal Retreats

Jesse Lee Kaufman: This place really helped me find my self balance and connect with my inner self.

The Cottage is a retreat place for short-term periods at $20 per person per night.  It is fully furnished with a full kitchen.  There is no telephone or television.  Wi-Fi is available.  It is designed for guests who are seeking a place to “just be” for a while.  The Pond is on 53 acres, mostly open hay field, with about ten acres of wooded area.  A labyrinth is just across the dam nestled between trees and the pond.  Private energy healing and gentle flow yoga sessions may be scheduled for $40 each.  For more information, contact Jaquie Haymond, PhD, RYT at yogatorum@gmail.com or call 864-506-4063.

My personal retreat with Shaman Jaquie was a life-changing experience.  She expertly guided me on an inner journey that initiated a deep healing process.  Her compassion, wisdom, and acceptance  created the safety I needed to begin to face an area of myself and my life that I had long avoided.  The beauty and serenity of The Pond combined with Jaquie's gifts were truly awe inspiring and Spirit filled.  I am so grateful to have had this experience.

Yoga Retreats at The Yogatorium

The January 18 Retreat was sold out.  Thanks to all of you who expressed interest!  I'll look forward to seeing ten of you again the next time - March 22!  Scroll down to see sample retreat structure.  Repeats are always welcome.  I, myself, like to attend some kind of retreat or training at least every other month or so.   Here's a comment from a participant in the January retreat:

I  have to say that being with you all last Saturday shifted my paradigm. I now hear this mantra, "If not now, when?" It is moving me forward where I was relatively stagnant before.  I have also had an opportunity to share what I learned with others, like my daughter and my friends.....Michelle Powers, Nurse/Attorney
